Step 4: We test it
We check your site works properly on our servers before anything changes.
Step 5: We switch you over
Once it all works, we point your domain to us.

How do I ask for a move?
Once you’ve signed up, open a support ticket and tell us where your site is hosted now. Our team takes it from there.
How long does a move take?
Most moves are done within an hour of us starting. Your site stays live at your old host the whole time, so there’s no rush.
Which hosts and control panels can you move from?
Any of them. cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin, another host’s own control panel, or no control panel at all: we’ll move it.
Is there a size limit?
No. We move websites, databases and mailboxes of any size, and as many sites as you have.
Is a free move included with an unmanaged VPS?
No. Free migration comes with Web Hosting, Managed WordPress, Reseller Hosting and Managed VPS. An unmanaged VPS gives you full root access to set up and move in yourself. If you’d rather we did it, a Managed VPS includes the move.
Is website migration really free?
Yes. Moving to us is free on every hosting plan, and there’s no limit on how many sites we move. Prices on this page are monthly and exclude VAT.
Will my website go offline while you move it?
No. Your site keeps running at your old host while we copy and test it. We only switch over once everything works on our side.
Do you move email as well?
Yes. We move your email along with your website and databases, so your addresses keep working on your own domain.
Can you move my hosting from cPanel?

Do I need to be technical?
Not at all. Choose a plan, open a ticket telling us where your site is now, and our team does the rest. If you get stuck, we’re here 24/7.
Should I cancel my old hosting straight away?
No. Keep it running until we’ve moved your site, switched over and you’re happy everything works. Then you can cancel it.
Can you move my clients’ websites?
Yes. On Reseller Hosting we migrate your existing clients for you, free of charge.
What if I change my mind?
If you’re not happy within the first 30 days, we’ll refund your hosting fees in full.
